Cancer Race for Life, Middlesbrough
In 2021, members of Girlguiding Cleveland were delighted to be back again, giving up their time to support Race for Life, after covid 19 meant the cancellation of last year's race. Guides let off cannons at the start and volunteers helped to organise the participants and monitor the self service refreshment and medal area at the finish. Some Girlguiding members actually took part in the race.

In 2018 and 2019 volunteers helped out on stage, led out the runners, joggers
and walkers at the start and then handed out well-deserved medals and
refreshing water at the finish. Volunteers also manned a PR stand to
encourage new members. Watch out for Girlguiding Cleveland again next year!
